The Samaritan Woman Continued

Begin in silence…
Close your eyes and sit quietly for a few moments before beginning today’s session. Take some deep breaths, open your hands as a posture of receptiveness before the Lord.

Set the scene…
Today we are once again at Jacob’s well just outside Sychar in Samaria. As Jesus rests there in the middle of the day, he begins a dialogue with a Samaritan woman drawing water from Jacob's well.

In the previous devotional about the Samaritan woman, Jesus addresses her in a compassionate and dignified way, not condemning her but inviting her into a significant conversation. As we see the Samaritan woman through the lens of Jesus, we will examine the good news shared between them, which she eventually shares with her entire village.
